“Den Sorte Cottage” (The Black Cottage) is a quiet cottage with sheep. The Cottage is situated in peaceful, tranquil surroundings on Southern Funen in Denmark with magnificient view of the Ocean and nearby islands.

We are open from june 1 until october 1. Bookings out of season can be arranged.

We have two guest rooms of very high standard. Both with bath and direct garden access. One of of the rooms has two extra beds. Breakfast is served in the “Orangery”. A glass of chilled white wine welcomes you on your arrival.

The Black Cottage is 4 km from the city of Fåborg with shops, restaurants and a golf course and only 2 hours from Copenhagen.

A helipad is also available.

We are close to a fine bathing beach and to the “Alps of Funen”: Svanninge Bakker and to Fåborg Museum with the “Painters from Funen”. Just 20 km to Svendborg and 40 km to Odense.
